On arrival at Archipelagos one is given a short introduction to the place and the basics are explained. One is left to one’s own devices in getting to know the other interns, as well as the supervisors or the boss of the organisation. Following the brief tour around the base, there is time to choose a bed in the shared room, unpack and then mingle with other interns.
