The participants are part of the special research areas &#8220;SFB 933\u00a0 Materiale Textkulturen&#8221; and &#8220;SFB 980\u00a0 Episteme in Bewegung&#8221;. The workshop aims to shed light on the role of scribes, printers and artisans in knowledge change in premodern cultures. There will be four talks, three of them in German and one in English.
