Its organizers seek original contributions from scholars working on any aspect of the mutual exchange between medical theory and philosophical argument in the ancient Greek and Roman worlds. Recent PhDs or advanced graduate students especially encouraged. Keynote speakers are Heinrich von Staden, Professor Emeritus at the Institute for Advanced Study, and R.J.
