\"\"<\/a>Bis zum 22. Februar 2012<\/strong><\/span> darf kostenfrei das Yearbook of International Organizations Online<\/a> getestet werden.<\/p>\n

Die Datenbank, die gemeinsam von der Union of International Associations (UIA) und dem Wissenschaftsverlag Brill angeboten wird, enth\u00e4lt ca. 64.000 Eintr\u00e4ge zu Organisationen weltweit, darunter sowohl staatliche, als auch nicht-staatliche, gemeinn\u00fctzige und internationale Organisationen.<\/p>\n

Bei der Recherche stehen verschiedene Such- und Filterm\u00f6glichkeiten zur Verf\u00fcgung (u. a. auch nach geografischem Raum oder fachlicher Ausrichtung). Der Sucheinstieg unter „Organizations“ ist beim ersten Mal etwas gew\u00f6hnungsbed\u00fcrftig – das Men\u00fc ist schmal am linken Bildschirmrand untergebracht und aufgrund der vielen Einstiege muss man etwas scrollen, um an den „Apply“-Button zu gelangen und seine Suche abzuschicken (Tipp: bei freien Textfeldern einfach „Enter“ dr\u00fccken). Bis zu 100 Eintr\u00e4ge lassen sich aus der Ergebnisliste im XLS-, CSV- oder Word-DOC-Format exportieren.<\/p>\n

Die Eintr\u00e4ge selbst enthalten neben den reinen Kontaktdaten auch Informationen zur Geschichte, zu Zielen, Struktur, Finanzen, Mitgliederzahlen und Hinweise auf eigene Ver\u00f6ffentlichungen. Die Eintr\u00e4ge sind mit Google Maps verbunden und k\u00f6nnen auch kommentiert werden. Die Datenbank wird alle zwei Monate aktualisiert.<\/p>\n

Weiterhin bietet das Yearbook of International Organizations Online eine Bibliographie, verschiedene Statistiken, eine Suchm\u00f6glichkeit nach leitenden Angestellten (Men\u00fcpunkt \u201cWho\u2019s Who\u201d) sowie ein direktes St\u00f6bern nach Organisationslogos („Logotypes“). Mittels der „IGO Search“ besteht au\u00dferdem die M\u00f6glichkeit, direkt in den Webangeboten von 3000 zwischenstaatlichen Organisationen (IGOs) zu recherchieren, darunter z. B. die Vereinten Nationen, die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission und die Weltbank.<\/p>\n
