Nach einem Test Ende 2016 kann nun \u00fcber das FU-Campusnetz regul\u00e4r auf das Dictionary of Old English<\/a> (DOE) zugegriffen werden. Die Datenbank war bislang „nur“ als CD-ROM<\/a> verf\u00fcgbar.<\/p>\n

\nDas Dictionary of Old English (DOE) verzeichnet das Vokabular der englischen Sprache der Zeit von 600 bis 1150. Es umfasst in der Online-Version \u00fcber 11.000 Stichw\u00f6rter zu den Buchstaben A bis F, die gegen\u00fcber der CD-ROM-Version erweitert und \u00fcberarbeitet wurden sowie tausende Stichw\u00f6rter zu den Buchstaben G und H.<\/p>\n

Das dem W\u00f6rterbuch zugrunde liegende Textkorpus, das \u00fcber 3000 altenglische Texte im HTML-, SGML- und XML-Format aus der Zeit von 600 bis 1150 umfasst, ist als CD-ROM-Datenbank zug\u00e4nglich (s. Dictionary of Old English Corpus<\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
