Der Anbieter hat Think Tanks als Institutionen definiert, die mit Universit\u00e4ten, Regierungen, Interessenvertretungen, Stiftungen, Nichtregierungsorganisationen und Unternehmen verbunden sind, die \u00f6ffentliche Politikforschung, -analyse und -aktivit\u00e4ten betreiben. Die Auswahl der Denkfabriken erfolgte u. a. nach Einfluss und Politikgestaltung. Es handelt sich sowohl um parteizugeh\u00f6rige als auch parteiunabh\u00e4ngige Institutionen.
