Ab sofort haben Hochschulstudierende die Gelegenheit, sich f\u00fcr das National Model United Nations 2019<\/a> zu bewerben. Der Begriff Model United Nations (MUN oder auch Model UN) bezeichnet authentische Simulationen f\u00fcr Sch\u00fclerinnen, Sch\u00fcler und Studierende, in denen die Arbeit der Vereinten Nationen nachgestellt wird. Das National Model United Nations ist die weltweit gr\u00f6\u00dfte UN-Simulation f\u00fcr Hochschulstudierende mit \u00fcber 5.000 Teilnehmenden aus Nord- und S\u00fcdamerika, Afrika, Asien und Europa.<\/p>\n

Die Konferenz findet im M\u00e4rz 2019 in den Sheraton und Hilton Hotels, New York City, statt, die Voting Procedures und die Closing Ceremony sogar im Hauptquartier der Vereinten Nationen. Jede Hochschule vertritt einen UN-Mitgliedstaat oder eine Nichtregierungsorganisation, den\/die es in verschiedenen Komitees und Internationalen Organisationen zu repr\u00e4sentieren gilt. Im Vorfeld der Konferenz findet eine UN-Study Tour mit Briefings von UN-Diplomaten im Hauptquartier der Vereinten Nationen statt. Die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer werden in einer interdisziplin\u00e4ren Projektgruppe (Mi + Do, 16 – 18 Uhr) im Wintersemester 2018\/19 und der anschlie\u00dfenden vorlesungsfreien Zeit auf die Konferenz vorbereitet.<\/p>\n
