{"id":476,"date":"2017-06-20T15:12:33","date_gmt":"2017-06-20T13:12:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.fu-berlin.de\/gruenstaeudl\/?p=476"},"modified":"2017-08-18T16:01:51","modified_gmt":"2017-08-18T14:01:51","slug":"476","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.fu-berlin.de\/gruenstaeudl\/2017\/06\/20\/476\/","title":{"rendered":"Teaching in spring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>In the lab with teachers-to-be and high-school students<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the master-level courses I teach at the <em>Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin<\/em> during spring semester, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bcp.fu-berlin.de\/natlab\/lehrkraefte\/kursthemen\/bio_sek\/Evolution\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NatLab Evolution<\/a>, is geared towards a comprehensive teaching education for upcoming high-school teachers. During this course, we invite high-school students from across Berlin to spend a day in the lab and work with the Master&#8217;s students on biological experiments.
