The following groups evaluate each other:<br><code>1+5, 2+6, 3+7, 4+8<\/code><\/li><li>Use the slides of the lecture <a href=\"https:\/\/git.imp.fu-berlin.de\/hcc\/hci1-sose-2020\/-\/wikis\/lecture\/09-1_HCI_Evaluation_Inspections_and_Quantifications.pdf\">&#8222;Evaluation: Inspections and Quantification (9-1)&#8220;<\/a> as a preparation guideline.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Phase 1: <code>Prepare<\/code><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nngroup.com\/articles\/ten-usability-heuristics\/\">Nielsen\u2019s Heuristics<\/a> presented in the lecture.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><code>(optional)<\/code><\/strong> Alternatively, if you want to dive a bit deeper into heuristics, you can use the heuristics of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.asktog.com\/basics\/firstPrinciples.html\">Tognazzini<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/faculty.washington.edu\/jtenenbg\/courses\/360\/f04\/sessions\/schneidermanGoldenRules.html\">Shneiderman<\/a>. Decides what fits best in your case and explain why.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/media.nngroup.com\/media\/articles\/attachments\/Heuristic_Summary1_A4_compressed.pdf\">Summary of heuristics (PDF)<\/a> <\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/media.nngroup.com\/media\/articles\/attachments\/Jakob's10UsabilityHeuristics_AllPosters_4.zip\">Heuristics with additional examples (PDF)<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prepare the tasks for the evaluators.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>HINT: The other group should have already a list from other test sessions, please reuse and adapt!<\/em><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/box.fu-berlin.de\/f\/207266132\">Example: Tasks for evaluators<\/a> (PDF &#8211; box.fu)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please use an (online) form to collect the violations by each evaluator in a systematic way. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You can copy and adapt the following template or redo it with some tool of your choice (e.g. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.limesurvey.org\/\">lime survey<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.typeform.com\/\">Typeform<\/a>).<\/li><li>Template: <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/19Ndyu034h3idQSFEHwwIWbJ58RUQggVjWiE1U0czfrw\/edit?usp=sharing\">https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/19Ndyu034h3idQSFEHwwIWbJ58RUQggVjWiE1U0czfrw\/edit?usp=sharing<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prepare so everybody can take screenshots and is able to link them in the previous form.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Tool suggestions: You could use <a href=\"https:\/\/monosnap.com\/\">Monosnap<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/getfireshot.com\/\">FireShot<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/chrome.google.com\/webstore\/detail\/explain-and-send-screensh\/mdddabjhelpilpnpgondfmehhcplpiin?hl=en\">&#8222;Explain and send screenshots&#8220;-Chrome AddOn<\/a>, to make screenshots and create a share link.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-bright-blue-color\">Don&#8217;t forget: You need to get access to the application of the other group!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Phase 2: <code>Evaluate<\/code> (Individual Inspection)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Carry out the individual inspection using the prepared documents.<\/li><li>Document your violations using your adapted form.<\/li><li><strong>All team members<\/strong> should carry out the individual inspection. This should be calculated with 45 minutes per person (max. 1 hour).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Documentation and Reflection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Document and reflect your process and list the files\/documents you used during evaluation in the blog post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-bright-blue-color\">Hint: The group discussion (Phase 3) will take place during the next lab session.
