Modules are frameworks to organize the courses<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Modules are the frameworks that contain different selections of \u201ccourses\u201d. That means a specific module can contain various\u00a0 different lectures, seminars, and lab courses. Thus, modules often contain a combination of different building blocks that need to be completed.
\nNot all modules require an exam at the end.<\/p>\n

A whole module needs to be completed to get the CPs<\/p>\n

The way to combine the courses to successfully complete the module can either be predefined or elective.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Modules with predefined course combinations<\/h3>\n

General examples:<\/u><\/p>\n

– Module 1: lecture + seminar
\n– Module 2: lab course + seminar
\n– Module 3: lab course + lecture
\n– Module 4: lecture alone
\n– Module 5: seminar alone<\/p>\n

Specific example for predefined combinations:<\/u><\/p>\n

Module “Current Topics of Pharmaceutical Research<\/a><\/span>”
\n<\/strong>This is the view of the module in the electronic course catalog:<\/p>\n

This module consists of a\u00a0 lecture and a seminar.
\nYou need to complete both, lecture and seminar, to get the 5 CPs.<\/p>\n

Modules with elective course combinations<\/h3>\n

In such modules you can often choose from a large number of different lectures, seminars, lab courses. The number of specific courses you need to complete to get the CPs for the module can vary between modules. Such modules are often “elective modules” and are imported from other study programs.
\nA specific number of courses within the module needs to be chosen and completed to get the CPs. The specific requirements, i.e. the number of courses that are required to complete the module, are defined in the examination order of the respective study program. If you have questions regarding these requirements, please contact the examination office of pharmacy.<\/a><\/p>\n

Specific example for e combinations:<\/u><\/p>\n

Module “Wahlmodul, Typ 2 ohne Modulpr\u00fcfung”
\n<\/strong>This is the view of the module in the electronic course catalog:<\/p>\n

Here, you can see that the module contains ca. 10 different lectures. You do not need to complete all 10 lectures to get the 5 CPs.<\/p>\n
