Power – a phenomenon that shapes every social exchange and thus influences the social order. Whether retrogression, stagnation or progress: power can bring decisive consequences. It can build, destroy, develop or even merge something. The sociological perspective of this seminar shows principles of power and how power can be generated. In detail, the seminar (Freie Universität Berlin, JFK-Institute) „Communication of Power: An Analysis of Structures“ focuses on the three key factors – network, resources and knowledge.
