– So far, no serial witness for this tablet is attested but the incipit, as suggested in the AMC (see below), is attested within the therapeutic collection (against illnesses induced by ghosts) AMT 97/4 (K. 4075) l. 18’-21’. It is uncertain if the following recipes in ll. 22’ and 23’f. could have been noted likewise in NECK 1.
– The sub-series NECK was, different from its seemingly anatomically oriented description, most likely engaged with general afflictions induced by the “hand of a ghost”, a topic already treated in CRANIUM 2 and EARS. It might therefore considered as a supplementary sub-series.
– Panayotov, BAM 9 (2018), 99 fn. 51 and 54 suggest BAM 471 as possible candidate for NECK 1 or 6 although some hints suggest rather an identification with NECK 1 or 2[1]
– A considerable number of collections (from older originals) are known from Niniveh which seem to be partly oriented on the specific treatments of ghost induced illnesses as well as the general diagnostic prescription ŠU.GIDIM.MA iṣabbassu/isbassu(DAB-su):
BAM 469 (fumigations, last entry for an amulet)
BAM 470 (amulets), AMT 6/10+ (K. 2550+) (inc. and amulets)
AMT 52/4 (ointments), AMT 96/4 (ointments), AMT 97/1 (inc. and ointment), AMT 97/4 (ointments)
AMT 81/7 (potions), AMT 95/1 (potions, dishes(?) and [broken])
AMT 93/1 (amulets, fumigations and ointments), BAM 472 (ointments and fumigations)
AMT 94/5 (broken), AMT 94/6 (broken, parallels most likely BAM 225 rev 3’-11’)
– attested collections within the respective serial tablets:
NECK 1(?): AMT 97/4
NECK 2: AMT 81/7
BAM 471 (NECK 1 or 2): AMT 52/4, AMT 97/4, AMT 93/1, BAM 469, AMT 96/4, BAM 472, AMT 95/1(?), BAM 470, AMT 97/1

[1] For the overlapping of BAM 221 (a collection used broadly for the material of NECK 2 and BAM 471) and NECK 2, suggesting BAM 471 to be rather a ms. of NECK 2 than NECK 1, see the introductory remarks for NECK 2.
