See for this incantation also K. 4152 rev 16ff.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref3\" name=\"_ftn3\">[3]<\/a> Cf. for the phrase KI(<em>itt\u012b<\/em>) <em>l\u0101 islimu<\/em> \u201cthey (or sub.) did not act kindly\u201d CAD M\/1, 208 <em>manan<\/em> as well as CAD S, 90ff. <em>sal\u0101mu<\/em> passim. Here <em>ki-i<\/em> should sincerly be regarded as <em>k\u012b<\/em> \u201cwhen; as soon as\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref4\" name=\"_ftn4\">[4]<\/a> The traces look more like \u1e2aU but might likewise belong to signs like GI or ZI.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref5\" name=\"_ftn5\">[5]<\/a> The reading I\u1e2a (adopted in BabMed Corpus BAM 524) is very uncertain. Or might it be an otherwise not attested fem. pl. of <em>u\u1e2b\u1e2bu<\/em> or <em>\u1e2ba\u1e2b\u1e2bu<\/em> both meaning \u201cphlegm; mucus, slime\u201d? The word remains unclear. Cf. also the rare word <em>\u1e2bu\u1e2b\u1e2b\u012btu<\/em> in <em>Sakikk\u00fb<\/em> 21:20\u2019 (and parallels) referring to either \u201cvomit\u201d or \u201cspittle\u201d (cf. other examples in CAD \u1e2a, 225 mostly connected with vomiting and different similar phenomena).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref6\" name=\"_ftn6\">[6]<\/a> Cf. the parallel BAM 525 obv 4\u2019-6\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref7\" name=\"_ftn7\">[7]<\/a> Most likely an unusual spelling of <em>sumk\u012bnu<\/em> \u201crot, decaying matter\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref8\" name=\"_ftn8\">[8]<\/a> For <em>nuku\u0161\u00fb<\/em> \u201cT\u00fcrzapfen\u201c (MZL), \u201ca door fitting\u201d (CDA).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref9\" name=\"_ftn9\">[9]<\/a> Cf. the parallel K. 4152 obv 5\u2018.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref10\" name=\"_ftn10\">[10]<\/a> See a seemingly similar treatment within the fragment BAM 526:5\u2019-6\u2019 (the fragment likewise bears some similarities to texts about hair loss), referring to the application on the right and left side of the KA MUR-<em>\u0161u<sub>2<\/sub><\/em>.
