Designed to complement the McCloy scholarship program of the Studienstiftung (German Academic Scholarship Foundation), the ERP Scholarship Program funds one- to two-year research and study stays as part of Master’s or PhD programs at top US universities. DEUTSCHES TECHNISCHES DOKTORANDENPROGRAMM AM CERN (WOLFGANG-GENTNER-STIPENDIEN)
Gefördert werden Doktorarbeiten in technischen Bereichen am CERN. Ziel des Programms ist die Ausbildung von Doktorandinnen und Doktoranden deutscher Hochschulen in einem internationalen, erstklassigen Hochtechnologie-Umfeld mit engen Kontakten zur Industrie. Die Betreuung erfolgt gemeinsam durch das CERN vor Ort und durch die Hochschullehrerin bzw. den Hochschullehrer der Heimathochschule, die oder der die Dissertation betreut.
Target group: Das Programm wendet sich an (zukünftige) Doktorandinnen und Doktoranden aus den technisch-naturwissenschaftlichen Bereichen, die an einer deutschen Hochschule promovieren (wollen).
Deadline(s): Es gibt drei Bewerbungsrunden pro Jahr (November, März und Juli).

The Franco-German University (DFH) has published its calls for proposals for bi- and trinational Franco-German undergraduate and PhD track programs for funding starting in the 2027–2028 academic year, as well as for Franco-German Doctoral Colleges (DFDK) for funding starting January 1, 2028.

XII International Academic Studies Congress (ASC 2026 / FALL)

Teilnehmende gesucht – studentisches Engagement gegen geschlechtsspezifische Gewalt
Im Rahmen des Internationalen Tages gegen Gewalt an Frauen plant die Kommission Sexualisierte Diskriminierung und Gewalt der Bundeskonferenz der Frauen- und Gleichstellungsbeauftragen an Hochschulen e.V. (bukof). eine gemeinsame digitale, überregionale Veranstaltung zum Thema. Neben dem Sichtbarmachen von studentischem Engagement soll die Veranstaltung auch dazu dienen, Studierende überregional zu vernetzen.
Im Mittelpunkt werden Studierende gestellt, die eigene Projekte oder Initiativen angestoßen haben. In einem lockeren Interviewformat sollen sie von ihren Erfahrungen berichten: Was war der Auslöser für ihr Engagement? Welche Herausforderungen sind ihnen begegnet? Was konnten sie bewirken? Dabei geht es uns ausdrücklich nicht um klassische Vorträge, sondern um einen persönlichen, niedrigschwelligen Austausch über Erfahrungen, Handlungsmöglichkeiten und das eigene Engagement.

Rosalind-Franklin-Preis der Freien Universität Berlin für wissenschaftliche Integrität 2026
Mit der Auszeichnung würdigt die Freie Universität Berlin die wegweisenden Beiträge von Dr. Anna Abalkina zur Aufdeckung betrügerischer Publikationspraktiken. Aufgrund des außergewöhnlich starken Bewerberfeldes vergibt die Freie Universität Berlin in diesem Jahr zusätzlich einen Runner-up Award an Jun.-Prof. Dr. María Piquer-Rodríguez für die Entwicklung praxistauglicher Vorlagen für einen transparenten Umgang mit Forschungsdaten. Der Hauptpreis ist mit 2.500 Euro dotiert, der Runner-up Award mit 1.500 Euro. Beide Auszeichnungen werden am 25. November, dem Tag der guten wissenschaftlichen Praxis, bei einer feierlichen Preisverleihung verliehen.

Portal der DFG zur Wissenschaftlichen Integrität in neuem Design
Das Portal „Wissenschaftliche Integrität“ (WI-Portal) der DFG ist technisch umgezogen und präsentiert sich in einem modernen, nutzerfreundlichen Design. Auch die Kommentierung der Leitlinien wurde überarbeitet und neu strukturiert: Zwei übersichtliche Rubriken erleichtern künftig die Orientierung. Als neuer Inhalt kommt eine Kommentierung der DFG-Verfahrensordnung hinzu. Beginnend mit den ersten Paragrafen wird die Kommentierung sukzessive vervollständigt.
