Each year, Dahlem Research School (DRS) awards two professors at Freie Universität Berlin for their outstanding supervision with the DRS Award for Excellent Supervision. The special aspect of this award is that doctoral researchers nominate their supervisors themselves. A commissioning panel comprising of doctoral candidates and staff members of Dahlem Research School evaluates the anonymized proposals and selects the awardees. Each award consists of a grant earmarked for the continued support of doctoral researchers. Special about this award is that doctoral researchers nominate their supervisors themselves. Find the call for nominations for the next award winners as well as the award winners of the past years here.
