During my internship at ESO’s paranal observatory, I focused on automating repetitive and time-consuming tasks within the PIN (Paranal Instrumentation) Group. My role involved improving processes, developing automated systems, and using cutting-edge technology to enhance operational efficiency. I worked on three main projects: the FORS2 FFB3 lamp adjustment automation, LLM-powered report writing, and KMOS helium compressor closed-loop control, as well as assisting in the day to day operation of the PIN group. „Internship at a Paranal Observatory in Chile“ weiterlesen
