„Geologisches Forschungspraktikum in Norwegen“ weiterlesen

Biochemistry Internship in Barcelona, Spain
My experience with Erasmus was something that I had planned for almost 2 years. I wanted to do it in the summer between my degrees but ended up doing it in my 3rd semester in Master´s. Internships are an integral part of my programme, and I decided to make the most out if by doing a research project abroad. I had my eye on Barcelona, Spain, but was open to exploring other cities as well. Its important to keep an open mind when looking for places where to apply. „Biochemistry Internship in Barcelona, Spain“ weiterlesen

Research Internship in New York
As part of my doctoral studies, I had the privilege to undertake a research stay as a visiting scientist in a partner laboratory at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM), the esteemed medical college and biomedical research institute of Cornell University, located in the heart of New York City.
PhD-Internship in Switzerland
I am thrilled to have such a wonderful opportunity to participate in a five-month Erasmus+ internship, working with a research group at the Department for Chemistry, Biochemistry and Pharmacy, University of Bern. As a doctoral student, I value learning from and collaborating with individuals from other research groups. My home group focuses on traditional computer-aided drug design (CADD), while the group I worked with during my internship focused more on advanced cheminformatics techniques. This opportunity allowed me to extend the main project of my PhD study and facilitated future collaboration between groups. „PhD-Internship in Switzerland“ weiterlesen
Researching at an Biotech Company in Vienna
As a master’s student in Molecular and Cell Biology at Freie Universität Berlin, I had the opportunity to complete a six-month Erasmus-funded internship at a biotech company in Vienna, Austria. The internship focused on antiviral drug development, directly aligning with my professional aspirations in research and development. This experience provided me with invaluable training, enhanced my scientific skills, and offered a unique perspective on the dynamic environment of the biotech industry. „Researching at an Biotech Company in Vienna“ weiterlesen

Internship Abroad in Spain, University of Barcelona
I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Biochemistry at Freie Universität Berlin. For my Erasmus internship, I decided on Barcelona because I had previously completed an Erasmus semester there. Since I already knew the professor of the research group from the lectures during my Erasmus, the application process was very straightforward, and I received an immediate acceptance. Preparing the documents for the Erasmus+ Internship application also went smoothly and without any issues.

Researching in Penicuik, Scotland
In order to graduate Biology doing an internship outside the FU is mandatory. Due to a lucky coincidence, I found the Moredun Research Institute’s parasitology group.
My decision to go abroad for my internship as well as doing so at MRI was the best one, I could’ve made.
Research Internship at Maastricht University
I began by gaining knowledge of the types of signals to be acquired and analysed in 7T laminar fMRI and knowledge of the most common statistical packages used in data analysis. In the following weeks I practised these skills on an existing dataset provided by Prof. de Martino. I also gained access to educational materials prepared by Dr. Federico de Martino and received one-on-one consultation sessions with the Prof. de Martino as well as scientific exchange within the research group.
