Seit dem 17. August 2020 hat die Wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Bibliothek aufgrund von Umbau- und Sanierungsarbeiten einen Interims-Standort im Untergeschoss des Fachbereichs Wirtschaftswissenschaft (Seiteneingang Garystr. 21) eröffnet. Im Rahmen der Hygiene- und Abstandsregeln wird der komplette Service des Leihbetriebs dort angeboten (Öffnungszeiten: Mo-Fr 10-16 Uhr). Ebenfalls steht ein kleines Kontingent an reservierbaren Einzel-Arbeitsplätzen zum Lernen zur Verfügung, teilweise mit bereitgestellten Computern (mit und ohne Druckoption).
Externe Nutzerinnen und Nutzer können ebenfalls von der kontaktarmen Ausleihe und der Reservierung von Arbeitsplätzen profitieren. Eine Einschränkung auf FU-Angehörige entfällt. Die Anmeldung neuer Nutzerinnen und Nutzer ist ebenfalls möglich. Bitte beachten Sie dabei die detaillierten Informationen der Bibliothek zu den Benutzungsmodalitäten des Interims-Standorts unter Pandemiebedingungen. Die Online-Kursangebote für die Studierenden und die Servicesangebote für Lehrende des Fachbereichs bleiben während der Interimsphase unberührt.
Mittlerweile ist der Großteil der FU-Bibliotheken wieder geöffnet, darunter auch mehrere Standorte für externe Nutzerinnen und Nutzer. Since 17 August 2020 the Library of Economics has opened an interim location due to refurbishment work. You can find the new location in the basement of the School of Business & Economics (side entrance Garystr. 21). Users will have the opportunity to use the full circulation service, inkl. borrow previously ordered media there. Because of the pandemic preparedness and the high sanitary measures the number of study desks is limited. You have to book a study desk in advance with or without provided computer workstations (with or without printing).
The Library of Economics is open to all patrons and is not limited to FU members. Beside the circulation of books and the booking of study desks also the registration of new patrons is possible. Please note the additional information of the library about the current services (in German). The online courses for students (in German) and the service offers for lecturers in the department (in German) remain unaffected during the interim phase.
In the meantime the majority of the FU libraries has been reopened, some locations also for external users. More information on lending services reopening you can finde here, information of available workspaces here. Other FU libraries will follow suit!
