Zentralbibliothek: Angepasste Servicezeiten ab 24. August 2026

Damit wir auch weiterhin verlässlich für Sie da sein können, passen wir die betreuten Servicezeiten in der Zentralbibliothek (Garystr. 39) ab Montag, den 24. August 2026, vorübergehend an. Bis Ende des Jahres gelten folgende Zeiten:

  • Leihstelle und Offenes Magazin: Montag bis Freitag von 9-18 Uhr
  • Ausleihe im Lesesaal: Montag bis Freitag 9-18 Uhr (bibliothekarische Auskunft: 9-16 Uhr )

Gute Nachricht für Ihre Lernzeit: Die Arbeitsplätze und Gruppenräume im 1. OG sowie der gesamte Lesesaalbereich im 2. OG (inklusive Labs, Studienkabinen und Coworking-Space) stehen Ihnen weiterhin wie gewohnt durchgehend von 9–20 Uhr zur Verfügung.

Central Library: Adjusted Service Hours as of August 24, 2026

Leihstelle der Zentralbibliothek (Garystr. 39)

To ensure we can continue to be there for you reliably, we will be temporarily adjusting the staffed service hours at the Central Library (Garystr. 39) starting Monday, August 24, 2026. The following hours will apply through the end of the year:

  • Circulation Desk and Open Stack: Monday through Friday, 9 AM–6 PM
  • Circulation in the Reading Room: Monday through Friday, 9 AM–6 PM (Reference Desk: 9 AM–4 PM)

Still open for you: Our study and work spaces—including the group rooms, labs, and coworking area on the 1st and 2nd floors—remain available for your use daily from 9 AM to 8 PM.

Wiedereröffnung der Magazine der Zentralbibliothek

Ab Dienstag, den 02.05.2023 sind die Magazine der Zentralbibliothek in der Garystr. 39 wieder für alle Nutzenden zugänglich. Sie können Medien dann entweder selbst aus den Regalen holen oder weiterhin über das Bibliotheksportal Primo zur Abholung an der Leihstelle bestellen.

Neu ist, dass auch die Bestände des Lesesaals nun ausgeliehen werden können. Diese stehen gemeinsam mit allen neuerworbenen Büchern und den laufenden Zeitschriften thematisch sortiert bereit. Die Grundlage dazu
ist die Regensburger Verbundklassifikation (RVK).

Zugänglich sind die neuen RVK-Bestände, abhängig vom Fach, über die Leihstelle im 1. OG oder den Lesesaal im 2. OG.

From Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, the stacks of the Central Library are again accessible to all users. You can then either pick up media from the shelves by yourself or continue to order them via the Library Portal Primo to be picked up at the circulation desk.

A new feature is that the holdings in the reading room can now also be borrowed. These are available together with all newly acquired books and the current journals, sorted by topic. The basis for this is the Regensburger Verbundklassifikation (RVK), a German library classification system.

The new RVK holdings are accessible, depending on the subject, via the circulation desk on the 1st floor or the reading room on the 2nd floor.
